The Hahnemann Institute Sydney, would like to extend an invitation to our professional colleagues, be it student, teacher, or practitioner, to contribute to our fundamental work. As a professional (nonprofit driven) organisation, our capacity for producing works of high quality (as with TBR and DHD) is very much dependant on the resources at our disposal, and we gratefully receive and acknowledge all contributions for that purpose.
There is, of course, much to be done in collecting material from various institutions and libraries around the world, both public and private, for the sake of making this material more readily accessible to the profession as a whole, before such material is lost forever. Our present focus, is the earlier part of the first century (up to around 1800) of homopathic writings both within periodicals and in monograph/book form, and from authors such as Hahnemann, Bönninghausen, Stapf, Hartmann, Lippe, Hering, Hartlaub, etc.
We believe that the main reason for the present-day disinterest in such original material stems from a lack of access to this information by many of our teachers, and that its true value will indeed be realised when access is readily available, for example, in the form of a searchable electronic database. Teachers and students would be able to collect information from say Sepia cases or TB cases mentioned within the literature, or to uncover proving data not available in the available materia medica. Researchers can collect and analyse this information for comparison to contemporary outcomes and practices. The potential for learning and therefore significance of such a tool can not be overstated.
We appreciate the enormity of this task, and we are fully aware that such an important and necessary work can not be accomplished without significant support from individuals and organisations within the homopathic community.
We invite you to support this effort, in whatever form you are able to provide it, and would gratefully receive and acknowledge any financial or resources contributions - original literature or photocopies, even commitments of time to make photocopies of such literature either in your possession or which may be accessible to you, etc.
Looking forward to your support.
Yours in Homopathy,
George Dimitriadis
